Social awareness in Media

I never knew that axe and dove were owned bny the same company. While dove is focusing on how media today is corrupting our view on people and confronting stereotypes towards beauty, axe is throughing that away and totally contradicting it. In the Dove commercial it shows how much women would go through to get into an ad only to be completely turned into someone they're not showing how media twists the image of people. While axe is saying to men if you use they're products, hundreds maybe thousands of beautiful women will be begging to get a peice of you. Well of course, results may vary. It's really peculiar to see this one company fighting to stop negative media and also spreading it. This attempt to gain customers on in both depatments is working quite well, so their true intention is to solely gain customers.
